Golden State star scored 17 points in game against Cleveland
Golden State Warriors offensive guard Clay Thompson played for the team in the NBA regular season game against the Cleveland Cavaliers (96-82).
In that game the 31-year-old American had 17 points (7 of 18 from the game), 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block shot in 20 minutes.
This is Thompson’s first official game in 2.5 years. He last stepped on the court on June 14, 2019. At that time, Golden State lost to Toronto (110-114) in Game 6 of the final playoff series, and Thompson suffered a left knee cruciate ligament injury.
Thompson missed the 2019/20 season completely before tearing the Achilles tendon in his right foot in preparation for the 2020/21 season.
