  • Accomplishments in sport and/or school include:

    • 2013 National Champion with Alabama Men’s Basketball team
    • Helped 2017-18 men’s team to national championship held in Marshall, Minn.
    • Averaged 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 points per game in 2017-18.
    • Shared the Ford Burttram Captains Award and the Dirty Work Award with teammate James Cook. The Dirty Work Award is for “doing all of the selfless work that is required to help teammates succeed.”
    • Also earned the Jannik Blair Impact Award, which is a program-wide award that goes to the senior who has had the most impact on the program as a whole.
    • Named to 2018 NWBA Honorable Mention Academic All-American Team.
    • Also helped tennis team to a 2018 National Championship.
    • In his time at UA, he has won two National Championships in basketball and one in tennis.
    • Has been competing since age four and was recognized as one of the top junior wheelchair racers in the United States.
    • Won two gold medals in the 2010 International Wheelchair & Amputee Sports Federation Junior World Championships in the Czech Republic.
    • Was a member of the 2011 U.S. IPC Athletics World Championships Team.
    • Selected as a Paralympics High School All-American in 2010.
