BAMA MEN BACK TO WORK AFTER TEXAS TRIP

Arlington, TX – This weekend was our first college games of the season in Arlington, Texas. We entered the weekend 1-0. We had three games over two days this weekend.
Our first game was against UTA on Friday afternoon. We got off to a slow start and the game was back and forth early. We ended the first half strong and entered the second half with a 6 point lead. UTA came out hot in he second half, while we were weathering the storm. We made a late run in the end and fought off a few tough calls, but came up a little short losing 47-55.Our second game was against Oklahoma City. We used this game to help simplify our defense and get everyone some playing time. Oklahoma had some big players and played a tough game, but we edged them out 64-61.The last game of the weekend was another game against UTA. They came out hot from outside. We played our best defense of the weekend in the first half of the game, but we struggled to hit our shots. The final score was 34-67, even though the game was much closer than the score. This weekend was a great learning experience for our guys. This weekend showed us that we have some things to work on, but we improved every game. Being the first tournament of the year, it was a great chance for our freshmen to get their first college action. This team has incredible fight. We will continue to put in the work and keep improving each and everyday!    Our team is now 2-2 Overall and 0-2 in Conference Play.  We are back in action on Saturday, November 19th at Lakeshore.
